FAIRFAX, Va. – First Heritage Mortgage (FHM) was named one of The Washington Post’s 2022 Top Workplaces in the Washington, D.C. area. The Washington Post bases its rankings on employee surveys gathered through an anonymous third-party survey that measures several aspects of workplace culture, including alignment, execution, and connection.

“The Post’s Top Workplaces list is now in its ninth year and continues to highlight the companies in the Washington-area that employees deem to be leaders in company satisfaction and engagement,” said Washington Post Top Workplaces editor Dion Haynes. “Each year, the leaders at these companies are commended for their leadership and collegiality, qualities which have increased in importance to employees with the last few years of heightened transition and change.”

This achievement is a direct result of the efforts that all FHM team members put into their work every day. It’s also a testament to how team members perceive FHM workplace culture and collaboration.

“Across the company, our team consistently collaborates to support one another, streamline internal processes, and reach a common goal of offering an exceptional customer experience,” said Banks Gatchel, President at First Heritage Mortgage. “All of those efforts are reflected in this achievement, which is a celebration for the entire FHM team across all of our branches.”
