First Heritage Mortgage Named One of 2020 Best Mortgage Companies to Work For by National Mortgage News
First Heritage Mortgage, LLC (FHM) has been recognized among the Top 10 Best Mortgage Companies to Work For 2020 by National Mortgage News and Best Companies Group.
The Best Mortgage Companies to Work For survey and awards program celebrates the mortgage industry’s best employers. This year’s list features 40 companies, selected and ranked based on a two-part survey process. The first part, worth 25% of each company’s score, was an evaluation of each organization’s workplace values, policies, practices, systems, and demographics. The second part, worth 75% of each company’s score, consisted of an employee survey to measure first-hand feedback on the staff experience. Best Companies Group managed the overall registration and survey process, analyzed the data, and determined the final rankings.

FHM celebrated several milestones over the past year, including originating $1.85 billion worth of mortgage loans in 2019 – a year-over-year increase of 37%. The company launched two branches in Cary, North Carolina and Charleston, South Carolina. FHM has been a leading independent mortgage lender for over 24 years and is on a mission to expand its footprint across the U.S. The company currently lends in 10 states as well as Washington, D.C., and plans to continue that growth in 2020 and beyond.
