March is Women’s History Month, and at First Heritage Mortgage, we are proud to have awesome female team members helping our company set records every month of the year. To honor and celebrate those achievements, we are sharing stories from three women leaders at FHM.

Below you can watch Connie Marzin, our EVP of Operations, discuss how she has seen more women enter the financial sector over the course of her career and how that diversity has helped improve the industry and workplace.

Erica Goodwin, our VP of Marketing, shares about the powerful women who continue to inspire her. She also gives timely advice on expanding the footprint of women in the marketing and financial sectors, pushing towards a more representative and diverse workforce.

A role that has been traditionally male-dominated is the Loan Officer position. Sherry Riano, one of our top-producing Loan Officers and Branch Manager of our Cary, NC office, shares what she believes women bring to the lending industry. She calls out that women are a “force to be reckoned with” and are leaders among the country’s top Loan Officers.

We believe it is essential to recognize the achievements of female visionaries and leaders like Connie, Erica, and Sherry. Just as important to us is that we continue to promote a representative and diverse workforce that serves our clients like no other lender. That’s why we call ourselves #MoreThanABank.
