COLUMBIA, S.C. – The Sales & Marketing Council (SMC) of Greater Columbia Building Industry Association (BIA) of Central South Carolina presented their 35th annual REGAL Awards Gala on Saturday, Feb. 24, 2024, at the Double Tree by Hilton hotel.
The Real Estate’s Greatest Achievers and Leaders (REGAL) Awards Gala is an annual black-tie event hosted by the BIA to recognize the industry’s top lenders, builders, and real estate agents.
Several loan officers from the First Heritage Mortgage Columbia branch were honored for their outstanding achievements throughout 2023.
Ashley Hagwood, FHM Loan Officer, received an award for producing over $2 million in new construction loan volume. Aaron Simmons, Senior Loan Officer, was recognized for producing over $15 million in new construction loan volume. Erica Ergle, Sales Manager, achieved the Diamond Level Citation in the Mortgage Management Division for closing over $19 million in new construction loan volume.
Additionally, Aaron Simmons was honored with the highly coveted Mortgage Lender of the Year award. This prestigious award celebrates the top loan officer of the year in the region. Simmons moved to the Columbia branch at the end of 2022, so the breakout achievement during his first full year in the area is a testament to both his business acumen and client-first focus.
