Jenny Kim to Become Production Manager on January 1, 2027; Jerry Berry to Transition from Management Role Following Six-Month Leadership Handoff
FAIRFAX, VA. — First Heritage Mortgage (FHM) is pleased to announce that Jenny Kim has been named the company’s next Production Manager, effective January 1, 2027. To ensure a seamless leadership transition, Jenny will serve alongside current Production Manager Jerry Berry as Co-Production Managers from July 1 through December 31, 2026.
Jenny’s appointment reflects years of proven leadership, exceptional mortgage expertise, and an unwavering commitment to helping others succeed. Since joining First Heritage Mortgage in December 2022 as Regional Sales Manager for Northern Virginia, she has consistently demonstrated the qualities that define outstanding leadership—earning the respect of loan officers, operations staff, and executive leadership alike.
A perennial top-producing loan officer throughout her career, Jenny brings an uncommon combination of production excellence and operational expertise. Her extensive knowledge of mortgage guidelines, collaborative leadership style, tireless work ethic, and positive, can-do attitude have made her an invaluable resource for both customers and colleagues. More importantly, her passion for mentoring others, solving complex challenges, and developing people made her the clear choice to lead First Heritage Mortgage’s production organization into its next chapter.

The transition has been carefully planned to ensure continuity for First Heritage Mortgage’s employees, loan officers, referral partners, and customers. During the six-month transition period, Jenny and Jerry will work closely together as Co-Production Managers, allowing Jenny to build upon the strong operational foundation Jerry has established while ensuring a smooth transition for the entire organization.
Jerry Berry will transition from his role as Production Manager at the end of 2026 after more than 26 years of outstanding leadership with First Heritage Mortgage. Widely regarded as one of the mortgage industry’s most respected professionals in Northern Virginia, Jerry has built an extraordinary legacy of excellence, winning the company’s annual sales championship approximately 19 times during his distinguished career.
